Nurse Manager Med/Surg-Illini (RN)

JOB SUMMARY This position will have oversight of the Associate Nurse Manager This requires oversight of the Geripsych and Acute Care units and regulatory oversight and duties of the nursing care plans. # This position is responsible for maintaining shift operations in the areas of patient care management, operational management and human resource customer and employee satisfaction. This position requires providing services to all age populations, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age to the individual served. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Illini Community Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Illini Community Hospital. This individual will be expected to share the weekend call by taking every third weekend on call. The weekend call expectation shall include but is not limited to the following: Responding to any Utilization Review issues Making sure unexpected scheduling vacancies are filled, either by finding a staff member to fill the shift or by working the shift. Being available to respond to any questions that arise from staff or patients/family. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Graduate of an RN School of Nursing Excellent written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED: License/Certifications/Special Requirements: Possesses current Illinois RN license. Maintain current BLS Pay Status: EXEMPT

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
