Associate Nurse Manager-Illini (RN)

The associate nurse manager in collaboration with the# Acute Care nurse manager leads front line nursing staff in the delivery of patient care on Acute Care and Worthington Square.#The associate nurse manager coaches and guides nursing staff in the implementation of action plans to achieve organizational goals of quality, efficiency, and excellence in practice.# Effective two-way communication and problem solving at the unit and organizational level Collaborates with the nurse manager to complete the recruitment, selection, orientation, and retention of nursing staff Ensure nursing staff compliance with the following; Professional development Adherence to nursing standards of practice Regulatory standards ANACodeofEthics Peerreviews Organizational and unit policies Mandatory education Infection control practice Scheduling processes and procedures ICARE standards of behavior# Collaborates with the nurse manager in budget development, utilization, evaluation, and adjustment Maintenance of a healthy work environment utilizing the principles of #just culture# which neither holds the nurse accountable for system failures nor tolerates reckless behavior Provides input into the evaluation and evaluates clinical nurses as assigned Mentors clinical nurses# Patient and employee rounding in collaboration with the nurse manager In the absence of the nurse manager, the associate nurse manager assumes the nurse manager responsibilities This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services, ICARE standards, adherence to the Code of Conduct, organization policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Administration and Code of Ethics for Nurses.# Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Graduate of an RN School of Nursing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing Previous leadership related experience License/Certifications/Special Requirements: Possesses current Illinois RN license. Maintain current BLS ACLS (within 6 months of hire) Preferred: Related Nursing Specialty Certification# ## #

Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Previous leadership related experience
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
Possesses current Illinois RN license.
Maintain current BLS
ACLS (within 6 months of hire)
Preferred: Related Nursing Specialty Certification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
